Who are we?Established in 2013, Hawkapella is Indiana University of Pennsylvania's only current a cappella ensemble. We are a student-run organization comprised of members with various academic majors but just one goal... to spread the joy of a cappella music! We have a student director and assistant director as well as various executive board members who coordinate communications inside and outside of the group, finances and events. Along with our student members, our faculty advisor is Indiana University of Pennsylvania's head of Choral Studies, Dr. Ryan Beeken. Want to see us in action? We perform several songs each semester of various genres, but only in one style, a cappella. 15-20 vocalists perform, along with a vocal percussionist, resulting in a well rounded sound. Although our set list changes each semester, it ranges from Pentatonix originals, to pop hits, such as "Bang Bang," to classic rock and is growing all the time! We enjoy performing at various events both on and off campus to bring some musical flair to any celebration or fundraiser! ____________________________________________________ Interested in becoming a member?
